Full-stack developer · Custom software from BrazilSoftware that solves the problem, not just the screen.

I’m Alysson Thoaldo, a senior web developer in Curitiba, Brazil. I design and build systems end to end with a back-end focus: booking, integrations, APIs and the libraries I write along the way.

About

Writing code since I was 11.

I started programming at 11 and went through C, C++, C#, Java, Rust, Python and Lua before PHP and Laravel became my everyday tools.

Since 2023 I have been building websites, online stores, admin panels and systems for clients, including time on an international team. In my spare time I maintain my own products and open-source libraries.

How I work

Less code, better judgment.

  1. Understand before building

I start with the process of the people who will use it. Screens come after knowing what has to happen.

  2. Simple that lasts

I’d rather ship something another developer understands a year from now than an architecture that impresses today.

  3. Integrations that don’t break

Calendars, payments and messaging fail. I plan retries, limits and logs from day one.

  4. Ship and maintain

Automated deploys, tests where it matters and enough documentation for the project to move on without me.

FAQ

Before starting a project.

What is custom software?

It is a system built around how your business works, instead of bending the business to fit an off-the-shelf tool. It can be a booking system, an admin panel, an integration between systems or a SaaS product.

What kind of projects do you build?

Laravel web systems and SaaS products, APIs and integrations with Google, WhatsApp, Instagram and payment providers, Filament admin panels, Next.js websites and Flutter apps.

Do you work with companies outside Brazil?

Yes. I work remotely with online meetings and have worked on an international team. I work in English and Portuguese.

Do you maintain existing systems?

Yes. Maintaining and evolving Laravel applications, websites and Flutter apps in production is part of my daily work, including refactoring legacy code.

How does a project start?

With a conversation about the problem and the people who will use the system. From there I define scope, timeline and the simplest solution that actually works. You can reach me through the form, email or WhatsApp.
